Hello All...
I passed my basic theory today :) though i suppose that isn't much of an accomplishment since everyone passes it. haha. The test took less than half an hour, but waiting for my turn to apply for the provisional driving license took up about an hour. Should have taken a queue number before sitting for the test. hah. Anyway, I think $25 for a pdl is a complete rip off because the license is just a tiny slip of paper. Not only is it not laminated, it's not even printed on cardboard paper. tsk. Took a cab home after i finished, I really have to figure out which bus to take home soon... i am thoroughly enjoying my free time, but being unemployed does have its drawbacks..such as the lack of income. That said, I really don't regret taking time off..haha..it is THE major holiday after all, and i'm going to enjoy it :)
Can't wait to go to sentosa tomorrow! Perhaps i do need the sun, sand and sea... have been hiding from the outdoors for way too long...haha...
I've been having really odd dreams for the past few nights. Nice dreams, but odd. haha. I still want to go on a holiday before going to uni, but i doubt i'll be going anywhere beyond SEA, apart from the possible pre-uni trip i might make with my mum to the uk. I shall make do with listing all the countries i want to visit, in the hope that one day i'll have enough money (and also be able to find someone to go with me) to visit all these places.
1. Egypt (fascinating pyramids, just looking at the mummies in the museum kept me occupied for ages, i think i'll be stuck in egypt for at least a month if i ever get to go)
2. Africa (safaris, need i say more? )
3. Russia (it's always been one of my favourite countries to study in history, and just to experience the super cold weather..haha)
4. Europe (Rome, Paris, Venice... culture, architecture, history and FOOD)
5. India (Taj Mahal, and of course the shopperholic in me desperately wants to buy pretty bangles, saris and those indian shoes :) )
The list could go on forever, but that's probably my top 5 (not in order of preference though).
Am off to bed soon, to dream about all those places ;)
